“Families in need are too often left to manage complex gaps in care, information, and resources by themselves. Without knowing what support exists—or even how to define their needs—they can feel overwhelmed. Sidney and Christine’s services make an extraordinary difference by identifying those needs and seamlessly delivering and coordinating care, bringing confidence and relief to families.” – EHF

“Sidney treated our parents with genuine respect and kindness, honoring who they are and the life they’ve lived, while gently helping us understand what they truly want right now. She gave us guidance and compassion in an overall challenging situation. We are grateful for her steady presence, wisdom, and heart.” – Maureen KH

“Sid has been a wonderful help this past year as my Care Manager. She takes me to all of my medical appointments and is very adept at communicating to my doctors to explain my problems and understands their suggestions. I can’t walk or stand very well so she has to to transport me and does very well with that. I wouldn’t be able to deal with the doctors without Sid’s help.” – Bob H.

“When I needed an assessment of my client’s capacity to live independently, I called Sidney at Optimal Living.
What I got was timely, professional service that communicated the information I needed clearly and effectively. I appreciate the hard work and have put Optimal Living at the top of my list for the next time I need a
care assessment.” – Russell Hellyer, Attorney, Salmon and Hewins Law

“I’ve worked with Sid for close to three years. In that time, she has been a tremendous advocate for my parents. She helped us resolve an issue with Administration which saved us at least $100, 000 in nursing home costs.” – Chris

“If you need help navigating the process of elder care for a family member, I highly recommend working with Sidney Eisgruber, certified care manager at Optimal Living. Her knowledge and expertise regarding assisting with my mom’s placement and continued care after injury made the process easy and much less stressful. We are forever thankful for Sidney!” – Susie Coogan

“After moving my mother, and as she has had more decline in her executive functioning, we needed help with arranging doctors appointments and medical care. When needed, Sid accompanied my mom to her doctors appointments as support. Also, Sid then provided us with detailed information about the visits so that we could make further plans for my mom’s care. I simply don’t know how we could have done this without Sid. With Sid in the room with my mom and her doctors, we always got the important details. Since I can’t be there with my mom, there is no one I could trust more than Sid. Sid is there for us whenever we need her. She has been a blessing for my mom and for my family.” – MG

“We could not have navigated my mother’s move without Sid’s help neither physically nor emotionally. She was there for us coordinating and caring every step of the way. Sid has the most remarkable dedication to her clients, in this case, my mother. She conveys tremendous empathy, warmth, and compassion with my mom. She listens to my mom and therefore my mother has grown to trust Sid implicitly.“– Meredith

“Having collaborated with Sidney for the past few years, I am continuously impressed with the attention to detail and level of care each of her clients receives. Not only is she an expert advocate for her clients and their families, she is also appropriately proactive in their care. She knows when to bring in outside resources and does a wonderful job vetting them. I look forward to many more joint efforts with Sid and Optimal Living, LLC.” – Sue Humphrey, Hospice Service Program Manager

“Sid and Christine enabled me to visit my out of state daughter and granddaughters. Without Christine’s help to navigate the airport, rental car, hotel, and my personal care, the trip would not have been possible. Their positive attitude and assistance allowed me to make precious memories. Before the trip was over, I not only had a caregiver, but also a friend! Their attention to detail and follow through insured a great trip!” – Jennifer

“Sidney’s wonderful and caring help with my aging mother was truly a blessing. The kindness, patience, and dedication she exhibited brought her comfort and dignity during such an important time in her life. Later, when my father needed similar care, she was there once again, offering the same unwavering support and empathy. Sid’s ability to provide not just physical assistance but also emotional solace has been a source of great reassurance to my family and me. Sid has a remarkable gift for making those in her care and their loved ones feel understood and valued. Her work goes far beyond a profession; it is a calling, and she has touched our lives in ways we will never forget.” – Debbi

“Sidney Eisgruber has served as care manager for my parents for over three years and her thoughtful, thorough, and compassionate care of them has truly taken a tremendous burden off the shoulders of myself and my siblings. She helped us navigate an extremely stressful experience as our father’s dementia and physical health deteriorated and was always on top of all of his medical appointments, meetings with the staff at their assisted living residence, and, eventually, conversations with hospital and hospice physicians and staff. Sid was in constant contact with physicians and therapists involved in our mom’s recovery. She has continued to help us navigate this new reality, asking pertinent questions of both doctors and therapists and suggesting ways in which we could advocate for our mom’s recovery.” – Patricia Scanlan

“Sid and her Assistant Care Manager, Christine, are very knowledgeable and understand the great responsibility of caring for a family’s loved one. Their attention to detail is remarkable! We had zero worries asking Sid and Christine to coordinate a special weekend trip for my sister, Jennifer, to visit her daughter and granddaughters. Before the trip, they made every effort to assess Jennifer’s needs. During the trip, Christine was positive and possessed all the skills needed to navigate a wheelchair through the airport, drive around a major city in a rental car, and help my sister get to and from her destinations so she could fully enjoy visiting her loved ones. Christine adeptly took care of Jennifer’s personal needs and was a fun companion.” – Natalie

“I can not thank Sidney from Optimal Living Indy enough for the compassion and care she provided my aunt during the last year of her life. Sidney was always willing to go the extra mile and a strong advocate for my aunt’s dignity and rights as she neared the end of her life. My sister and I were trying to manage our aunt’s care from out of state, Sidney was hired as our “boots on the ground.” We are so grateful for her dedication and compassion. It is very evident Sidney cares deeply for her clients. Sidney even attended my aunt’s memorial service four months after her passing. Sidney is absolutely wonderful and I would personally recommend her to anyone seeking a dedicated, supportive and professional care manager for their loved one.”-Jenny

“Sid has excellent questioning and listening skills when conversing with medical staff. She drove me to a procedure that required sedation and afterwards communicated with the physician, taking notes and then letting me know the results and recovery steps. Also, she stayed with me about an hour afterwards to make certain I had sufficiently recovered from the anesthesia. I do not have nearby family support for such a procedure. It was such a relief to not burden my working friends and have Sid’s compassionate and reliable support. I will continue to retain Sid as my health-care manager and advocate.” – A. Simposon

“Like many other children with parents with dementia, I found that an evaluation of my mother’s situation was necessary. Since I live 650 miles away from her and am an only child, I didn’t know exactly where to turn. I contacted Sidney out of the blue, based on her excellent credentials and bio. I could not have been happier! Sidney is a true professional. The initial phone conversation was very thorough and I could tell that this would be a good fit. My mother was very comfortable with Sidney when they met, and enjoyed their visit. The follow-up call to me and resulting information were extremely helpful in determining my mother’s needs. The report was thoughtfully written, with every detail in place. My mother’s doctor was also very impressed. I highly recommend Sidney Eisgruber and her Care Management services.” – Cathy
